CUTLERY !

I read on someone's blog (if it was you let me know) that forks were invented before spoons but if we take the present participle approach it becomes a matter of personal preference...
Does spooning lead to forking,or would you rather fork first and then spoon the night away?

Actually knives were first and throughout the middle ages, people ate only with knives if cutlery were necessary--fingers were usually good enough. I thought forks were first.

my understnading was that forks came after spoons which came after knives. but i could be wrong.

in any event i think spoonforkspoonforkspoonforkspoon...it's all good, should be a cycle if you ask me

For fork's sake, Cathy!

Personally, I prefer the spooning to follow the forking, but that's just me. And if they won't spoon, fork 'em.

As a Pug who's always "on the go", I prefer the time-saving convenience of the "spork".

Cathy, thanks for visiting my blog and leaving that very saucy comment. I did respond but I guess you didn't see my response (it's in there somewhere).

An ideal time is spooning, forking and then spooning again.
