more poetry

Encouraged by positive feedback I am posting another poem.
Written I hasten to add when I was young free and single.

TRESSPASSER

A MAN WALKED BRIEFLY THROUGH MY LIFE
AND TRESSPASSED ON MY MIND
I CAUGHT A GLIMPSE OF PARADISE
BEFORE HE TRAVELLED ON

ALTHOUGH HE DID NOT STAY FOR LONG
HIS FOOTPRINT ON MY MEMORY
BURNS ME LIKE AN IRONBRAND
THE TRESSPASSER IS GONE

Um- sounds very unpleasant. Poignant, though.

cathy, thank you for your comments at mrsbg... I am not a writer, nor make any claim to be one; just having fun with a character I adore. I accept I have no literary talent.

I see you like vdo movies too, so you may be interested in my other blog http://london-love.blogspot.com where I try to match fitting poetry, quotes, lyrics to his roles.

I also attempt to write poetry on http://london-love-verse.blogspot.com. Again I make no claim to any real talent or gift, just that I when the words flow (and not that often) I post them there.

Your poem here is intersting. I don't share chrlane's view as unpleasant whatsoever; in fact quite the contrary.
