LOST

Seeking answers,
Finding confusion.
.
Seeking comfort,
Embracing illusion
.

Seeking the future,
Losing the past.
.

Seeking stability,
Sinking fast.
.

Turning, ever turning,
So many questions burning,
.

Branding pain inside
Nowhere left to hide.
.

Impossible to stay,
Unthinkable to go.
.

No “right thing to do”
Family breakdown,
.

Catch 22.

Excellent, Cathy. You describe life to a “T.” As for Catch-22, I have come to believe it is normal these days, in many ways.

It is quite ironic that we often find pleasure in art that might have its root in pain.

This is quite good.

The fear of making a decision is far, far worse than actually making it. x

Change can be scarey, but not nearly as scarey as the thought of it.

Great writing, as always Cathy

I have always loved your writing. You are an amazing person, Cathy, and you have more friends and admirers than you probably realize. You make life better for the people that you touch, and life WILL get better for you, my friend.

Cathy, I'm inspired to write a Flash 55 again! At first I didn't even realize this was a 55...I just thought it was a great poem!

I'll try to remember this coming Friday...

Thanks for visiting me a while back, I was MIA.
