Um, I guess there is a meaning in that picture, to you. But I'm not getting it.

The possibilities are endless.

I'll get back to you on this one.

The silhouette above the tunnel is slightly disturbing.

This is how I would be depicted as a card in a Tarot deck, which some believe was designed as a form of international communication as opposed to a means of fortune telling.

The river is life going on regardless carrying the past away. The tree represents the future while the stumps are future paths that are no longer open to me due to past choices. The spooky guy in the background is beyond my understanding and reach and, yes, rather intimidating.

Very interesting. The symbolism can lead to several interpretations.

So why are your feet stuck in a birds's nest?
Since when did you have webbed fingers? and...
Why don't you take something for that headache?

And in the end, there are still choices...no matter what we do, sometimes the choices are taken from us...but as long as we continue to have new ones, things are bright

Did you draw this? Very well done Cathy. Cheers!!

Oooh, I love it!

I think she should carry right on down that river. That shadow looks a bit daunting to me.

Cathy, my first take on your drawing:-Blank canvass

Ah, tarot cards.

I guess you must think they know your future.

Ha, ha, ha. Tarot cards are just written by other monkeys, just as horoscopes are.

Life here is chaos, put on your big girl panties and deal with it.

Or change it as you can if you don't like what it is.

ssnick, When I doosle I doodle with feeling,LOL.

Pauline, I'm not bald either. What do you take for a metaphorical headache?

bond, that's right, Have you read "The Diceman"?

matt-man, You are too kind. Cheers.

miss understood, She would have to go up the river, Or climb the tree. LOL.

piktor, I'll pop right over for a look see:)

bbc, I'll put my knichers on if you put your glasses on and read the comment properly. I was using the communication aspect not the fortune telling one.

I deal with the chaos of life everyday, as do all the monkeys in this jungle, making changes as and when I choose regarding the aspects which are within my control.

Guess again:)

Make it a quantum leap! LOL.

I saw the twig, and some say don't follow the light down the tunnel. What the hell, long as I'm not lying on an operating table, I'm that dam nosey I'd have to go through the tunnel, not sure if I would blast the shady geezer with my whap- gun or drag him through there with me!!!!!!

I have not read it...will have to look it up

I hope you don't mind, but I printed off a copy, traced over so it looks like I drew it, then signed it and taped it to the fridge at work.

Now some people avoid me, while others check to see if I'm okay. So - despite the upcoming appointment with H.R. - it's "Mission Accomplished".

Hey Cathy
Thanks for the b/day wishes on my blog!
Nice to 'meet' another Picean and of the same vintage too I see!

As for your post I see a very complex doodle!

Yes, sometimes posts are not understood as the writer intended them be. For one thing we all read fast.

And even though we use the same language there are differences in it being as we are in different countries. Well, we're all crazy anyway.

So when are you going to do a new post?

cathy said...

queenie, It's the tree for me.

bond, I think you might like it.

she, I've done the lightening tower and am headed for the devil. LOL.

pug, just let me know what the shrink says:)

jimmy, communication comes in many guises.

bbc, "Divided by a common language." Sorry about the irregular posts I'm so busy that I don't have time to think. I'll let you know if inspiration strikes and I have time to write.
