Emotional abuse is such a scourge Cathy a good subject to choose.
It's been mentioned at mine tonight as well.
Like you I didn't do a post but wanted to support the initiative.
No abuse is right and maybe us bloggers can make a difference.
It's a very worthy cause.

It's shocking how mcuh women are still treated as commodities.

The rattiest thing about abuse is that we have so much trouble seeing it as it's happening. Too often, it's later perspective that allows us to realize what was happening.
I think the worst thing about abuse is not being allowed to shoot the bastard (and I'm not being flippant)
I'm amazed at how widespread it is and how many women, strong women, endure things no human being should ever allow.

I am not posting individual replies to these comments but I think jocelyn hit the nail pretty much on the head and logophile's wish will be granted in spades.
It was very interesting for me to read that blog. Thank author for it. I like such topics and anything that is connected to this matter. I definitely want to read more on that blog soon.
