I read on someone's blog (if it was you let me know) that forks were invented before spoons but if we take the present participle approach it becomes a matter of personal preference...
Does spooning lead to forking,or would you rather fork first and then spoon the night away?

Actually knives were first and throughout the middle ages, people ate only with knives if cutlery were necessary--fingers were usually good enough. I thought forks were first.
my understnading was that forks came after spoons which came after knives. but i could be wrong.
in any event i think spoonforkspoonforkspoonforkspoon...it's all good, should be a cycle if you ask me
For fork's sake, Cathy!
Personally, I prefer the spooning to follow the forking, but that's just me. And if they won't spoon, fork 'em.
LOL : ) Spooning can lead to forking, but not always.
Aww fork it!
I usually just dive in.. Mouth First!!
Forget the metaphores...
Until I get to know you better, I'll modify this next little kudo.
You're a crypticwitch aren't you?
Its all down to the chopsticks in the end.......
g-man see post
queenie- sounds pretty kinky.
As a Pug who's always "on the go", I prefer the time-saving convenience of the "spork".
pw- another hit and run merchent!
So many questions, so few answers. But really, who gives a fork? Just shake your booty!
Cathy, thanks for visiting my blog and leaving that very saucy comment. I did respond but I guess you didn't see my response (it's in there somewhere).
LOL.. Okay, I'm fairly new here so I'm reading back some. This line here..
"ok spooning and FUCKING NOW DO YOU GET IT?"
..made me laugh out loud for the first time today.. Thanks for that! :D
Dan- glad you found the time to drop by. I saw your response which said you would visit, It's been like waiting for the gas man.
groovy lady- laugh and the world laughs with you, cry and you shrink your face.
yes, i got it quite clearly....i still advocate a never ending cycle
I know you got it.I was a bit rushed and only did half of my comment. Glad we can leave knives out of the cycle:)
An ideal time is spooning, forking and then spooning again.
